Dear Emergency Volunteers, You’re invited to attend the June BeReady Sandy Emergency Preparedness Meeting as we focus on heat emergencies and power outages. This is a great opportunity to learn how to stay safe during extreme heat events and prepare for potential power disruptions. Topics will include recognizing heat-related illnesses, creating cooling plans, preparing emergency kits, and supporting vulnerable populations. Bring your questions and concerns—this session is designed to help residents take informed action.
