Your Bulk Waste Pick Up Date Is Coming!

Dear Resident,

Your Bulk Waste Pick Up is next week on May 23rd, 2022. Please remember: do not put out your bulk waste items until 72 hours prior to your scheduled collection date. This will help keep neighborhoods and storm drains clean.

As you get your items ready, there are a few important things to remember.

• Your pile size is limited to 20’ long by 6’ wide by 4’ tall.

• Piles must be 2 feet into the road from the edge of the gutter and 3 feet from any storm drains

• Do not block traffic or driveways

• Separate green waste from bulk waste

• Hauling bulk waste to another location is considered illegal dumping and residents are encouraged to contact the Police Department at (801) 799-3000 with the license plate number of the violator.

Here is a list of acceptable items:

• Boxes / Bundles / Bags (required for small, loose items like leaves and grass clippings)
• Appliances (refrigerant removed and tagged)
• TVs / Household Appliances
• Water Heaters
• Furniture / Cabinets (glass must be removed)
• Toilets / Sinks / Bathtubs
• Mattresses / Box Springs / Bed Frames
• Carpet / Padding (rolled)
• Green Waste (max length 4’, max diameter 18”)
• Fencing / Posts / Lumber (max length 4’)
• Lawn mowers / Snowblowers / Other Small, Gas-operated Equipment (oil & gas removed)
• BBQ Grills (propane tanks removed)
• Scrap Metal/Pipes (max length 4', max weight 50 lbs. - no auto parts, no vehicle/trailer with a VIN)
• 55-gal Drums (empty and tops removed)

Items not listed WILL NOT be picked up!

• Residents must haul away or rent a dumpster for items not listed.

• Residents can be cited for violation.
