Hello Sandy Residents! The Sandy Youth Council is back! By a unanimous vote, the Sandy City Council has officially relaunched the Sandy Youth Council Program! Applications are now open for Sandy residents currently enrolled in high school, who want to learn more about their local government, participate in service projects, and meet other students from around Sandy. The Sandy Youth Council is a group of high school students who meet once a month to discuss city issues, tour city departments, and learn about Sandy City. Students will also participate in monthly service projects like Sandy Beautification Day, the Fourth of July Parade, Trunk-Or-Treat, and more! The Sandy Youth Council provides an excellent opportunity for high school students to develop leadership skills, give back to their community, and explore career paths in local government. Applications are now open and can be accessed here. All applications are due by May 18th.
