New UDOT Canyons Sticker ProgramThe UDOT Cottonwood Canyons Sticker Program is a free, voluntary winter safety initiative that began in October and will be effective until February 28, 2025. The program provides vehicle tire inspections to improve safety and reduce traffic in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. If your vehicle meets the traction requirements, you’ll receive a sticker indicating it’s winter-ready when the Traction Law is in effect. Although not required, this sticker helps ensure smoother travel. For public transit options to the canyons, visit the UTA website. Sign-ups begin October 17. |
