Mayor Z

Dear Sandy Business Leader,

It’s exciting to attend the many ribbon cuttings and groundbreaking ceremonies recently in our city: The new Macey’s Market Little Cottonwood, Wildflower Events Center, Scelto Italian Restaurant, The Peppered Vine, Cedarwood at Sandy, and the new Barnes & Noble, just to name a few.  I am thrilled that business owners are choosing to make Sandy their home. What wonderful additions to the quality mix of businesses already established here.

Whenever I have a choice, I shop local. This year I’ve launched an initiative to promote local business and remind residents of the importance of shopping in Sandy. When we shop #SandyBusinessFirst, we are bringing in jobs and sales tax dollars that improve the quality of life for everyone.

As you’ve chosen to invest in our city, Sandy City is committed to helping you, our business owners, thrive. Be sure to register your business on the local directory that’s getting a lot of buzz. Feel free to share the video below with your customers and partners. As we strengthen our business community we strengthen Sandy. Let’s continue to work together to share the word about the unique, high-quality goods and services that are found only in Sandy!

Yours in Service,

Shop Sandy Map

Sandy City Business Connect is an initiative aimed at fostering the growth and development of small businesses within Sandy. One notable aspect of Sandy City Business Connect is the Shop Sandy Map, a digital platform that serves as a valuable tool for residents and visitors alike, allowing them to discover local shops, restaurants, and service providers. By promoting these businesses, the initiative encourages residents to shop locally, thereby stimulating the local economy and supporting the growth of small businesses.

Additionally, Sandy City Business Connect highlights various businesses within the community through features and spotlights. These highlights are led by our small business liaison and provide exposure to local businesses, helping them reach a broader audience, attract new customers, and share valuable feedback with the city. Follow this link if you are interested in having your business highlighted.
