We know construction and traffic impacts in this area have been frustrating, and we appreciate your patience.

Crews have been working both during the day and at night, with most road closures scheduled overnight to reduce impacts on daytime traffic. This week, however, some work needed to happen during the day. Crews had to raise manhole covers and pour fresh concrete, which required warmer daytime temperatures to properly set. The City’s portion of the work is expected to wrap up by the end of this week.

Construction associated with the Smith’s project will continue, including work on the new fuel station and installation of a new traffic signal. The overall project is scheduled for completion in November.

Please consider using alternate routes when possible, allow extra travel time and use caution around crews and construction zones. Thank you for your patience while this work is completed.
