Each September, more than 3,000 American flags transform the Sandy City Promenade into the Utah Healing Field®, a powerful tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Each flag represents an individual life and offers our community a place to remember, reflect and stand together.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Please join us for a special anniversary event on Friday, September 11, at 9:30 a.m. at the Sandy City Promenade. (173 E. Sego Lily Dr.)

The public is also invited to visit the Healing Field from September 10 - 14 to pay their respects, walk among the flags and reflect on the lives and stories of those being honored.

Volunteers are still needed to help set up and take down the flags. Individuals, families, schools, businesses, service organizations and community groups are invited to help bring this meaningful tribute to life.
