![]() Water Week is coming up April 24-28, 2023 and we have some water-related activities planned for Sandy’s community. Photo Contest - April 10-23 We all need water to survive! What are some ways that water is important or meaningful in your life? For this year’s Water Week, we’re asking you to think about the ways water connects us all, from our family and friends to the Great Salt Lake. Show off your photography skills and your love for water by participating in our photo contest. Submit your photos from April 10-23. The winners will be announced on April 27 and will receive a water bill credit. ENTER HERE |

NEW! Water Watch Resident PortalSandy City has a new resident water portal! WaterSmart provides detailed information about your household water use. You can reach the portal on your mobile device or web browser at sandy.utah.gov/watersmart To register for this free service, just enter your billing account number and email address. You can then access all of your utility data as soon as it becomes available each billing period, see how your water use compares to similar sized homes in your neighborhood, and get access to customized recommendations on how you can save water and money. We hope you take advantage of this exciting new service, and look forward to working closely with our residents to make our city more resilient, healthy, and happy! |

Utah Water Savers Looking to save water on your sod? Thinking of tearing out your turfgrass? Tired of sprinkler tinkering? Whether you’re seeking to save water, reduce maintenance, or change up your landscape, we’re here to help! Sandy residents are eligible for waterwise landscape rebates. Eligible projects may receive between $2-$3 per square foot of turf replaced with waterwise landscaping. Before you pick up the shovel, head to www.utahwatersavers.com to learn about project requirements and fill out an application. We’ll be in touch with you as soon as possible! Once your application is approved, you may begin your project. Thyme to visit Sego Lily gardens! We're open for the season from 8am-8pm, Mondays through Saturdays, until the end of September. At Sego Lily Gardens you can come observe and learn how to use water conservation principles and practices to create a beautiful and water-wise landscape. Can't wait to see you! Mark your calendars, the spring fair will be here soon! Join us at Sego Lily Gardens on Saturday, June 3rd from 9am to noon. Sandy City will be sharing water conservation ideas and tools together with local organizations. We will have information and activities for the whole family. Free plants or conservation kits will be available for the first people to arrive!
