Dear Emergency Volunteers,

You are invited to attend this month’s BeReady Sandy Emergency Preparedness Meeting. This session will focus on wildfire preparedness and mitigation. We will cover key strategies to reduce wildfire risk, steps residents can take to better protect their homes and neighborhoods, and how volunteers can support community readiness.

We will also provide a brief update on House Bill 48 related to high-risk Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) areas and what it means for our community.
