America 250 Sandy Community Art Contest
|
Sandy City invites residents of all ages to take part in the America 250: Sandy Community Art Contest, a special opportunity to celebrate our city’s past, present, and future through art. As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, this community exhibit will highlight how Sandy is part of the larger American story. Join us for Community Art Day at the Sandy Library on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents are invited to stop by, create artwork on site, connect with neighbors, and be part of the America 250 celebration. Art supplies will be provided, and participants of all ages are welcome. If you are unable to attend the in-person event, you can still participate. Click the link below to submit your artwork through our digital submission form. Artwork should reflect the theme “America 250” and Sandy’s place within our nation’s story. Artists may draw inspiration from ideas such as:

Whether you are an experienced artist or simply want to try something new, Community Art Day is a great way to celebrate creativity and community. We hope to see you there. |
