The Importance of Being Earnest

The Sandy Arts Guild presents The Importance of Being Earnest, opening January 30. This Oscar Wilde classic is a sparkling comedy of wit, romance, and ridiculous disguises. Jack and Algernon have each invented alter egos to escape the boredom of polite society, but their double lives collide when love enters the picture.

With mistaken identities, sharp social satire, and Wilde’s signature one-liners, this delightful farce skewers Victorian conventions and proves that nothing is more important than being earnest.

The show runs January 30 through February 14. Tickets range from $11 to $17.

Community Development Corner - Snow Removal and Sidewalk Safety

As winter weather arrives, we want to remind residents of the importance of keeping sidewalks and streets safe for everyone. Clearing sidewalks after a storm and following winter parking restrictions helps maintain accessible routes for students, pedestrians, and those traveling through our neighborhoods.

These small steps make a big difference in keeping Sandy safe and moving smoothly throughout the season. Click the link below to read the full article and learn more about how we can work together during winter storms.
