SandyNow ZNews

In Sandy City, we come together to plan and protect what makes our home special. During a month when we traditionally express gratitude, we can reflect on what we’ve built in Sandy City and what we’re working toward as a community. As you enjoy Thanksgiving, invite your family and friends to kick off the holiday season with a special “Light up the Cairns” Shop & Stroll on Dec. 4. I also want to extend a special thank you to our veterans who have protected us and preserved the freedom we all cherish. Click the link below to read my full November message.

Understanding Sign Regulations in Sandy City

Signs play an important role in shaping the look and feel of our community. Sandy City’s sign regulations are designed to balance public safety, community aesthetics, and the need for effective communication. Temporary signs may only be placed on private property with the owner’s permission and are not allowed in public rights-of-way, such as park strips. Most permanent signs require a city permit, while temporary and noncommercial opinion signs have separate rules.
