You’re invited to the Sandy Heritage Festival in the Historic Sandy District from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a day of food, fun, and festivities honoring our city’s rich history.

The day kicks off with the Sandy Horse Parade at 10:00 AM, featuring 100 horses down Main Street. Arrive early for the best viewing spots along the parade route (see map below). After the parade, head to Main Street Park for an afternoon of:

  • Live music from local artists

  • Car show displays

  • Food from local food trucks

  • Kids’ activities, including inflatables and face painting

  • Other exciting attractions for all ages

Getting to the Event:

  • Street Parking: Please park away from parade and festival areas and avoid blocking driveways.

  • UTA Trax: Take the Trax to Historic Sandy Station (90th South) for easy access.

Important Safety Notes:

  • No pets (dogs) allowed at the parade to protect the horses and attendees.

  • Keep a safe distance from the horses and ensure children remain off the street.

  • Parade participants will not be throwing candy this year.
