This is a final notification of a City of Oakland mandatory training that you are required to attend tomorrow on Wednesday the 11th. 

The Training is entitled ICE TRAINING FOR CROSSING GUARDS and will be in the Ready Room of Building 4 (where we used to sign time cards way back when) from 3:30PM to 6:30PM. NOTE the time change. The meeting is now scheduled for 3 hours, (not 2 as stated prior).

Every Guard that attends and completes the live training is approved to add the appropriate amount of hours to their time entries for completing the training and for their travel time as stated below.

• If you come into Edgewater, during the AM session from 10:30 to Noon, and you return to attend the ICE training at 3:30PM, you will be adding 5 hours (2 hrs. for travel, and 3 hrs. for training). 

 

• If you come into Edgewater, during the PM session from 1:30 to 3:30PM, and you stay to attend the training at 3:30PM, you will be adding 4 hours (1hr. for travel, and 3 hrs. for training).

 

• If you do not come into Edgewater to enter your time, but only to attend the mandatory ICE Training, you will be adding 4 hours (1hr. for travel, and 3 hrs. for training).

No matter which of the 3 options above you choose, no single day should exceed 8 hours of Regular TPT. Please distribute these extra hours accordingly
