Greetings Crossing Guards,

 As predicted the sunshine has again returned to Oakland in all its glory and heat (temperatures in the low to mid 80's). For this afternoon only we will shorten the afternoon shift to 45 minutes (30 minutes before your afternoon bell and 15 minutes after).

Wednesday looks to be possibly more of the same but we will send a separate message for each day, and again, any shift changes will only apply to the PM shift. 

Remember to bring and drink water, and find whatever shade your location has to offer. If you are feeling at all woozy you should go to the office to sit and rest until the feelings pass.

I think that heavy snow fall is  predicted for Thursday :) :)
