Contractor Work on Rollandet Avenue
Beginning Wednesday, April 1 through Friday, April 3, Knife River will be conducting utility work associated with the Rollandet development project. This work will require a temporary closure of Rollandet Avenue during this time.
During the closure, crews will install a water mainline across the street for a fire hydrant and complete a power trench in the same general area.
Work is expected to be completed, with crossings patched, by Friday afternoon, at which time Rollandet Avenue will reopen to traffic.
Softball Drive will remain accessible from Rollandet Avenue throughout the closure.
Please note that this is not a City of Idaho Falls project. The City is sharing this notice to help keep residents informed of work taking place in the area.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use caution near crews and equipment.
