As of this morning, power outages were down to 3.4% of properties in town. 14 Eversource crews are still actively working in Provincetown at this time. We expect these remaining properties to come online today and will be in touch with Eversource on their progress as the day goes on.The VMCC Shelter and Charging Station are now CLOSED. We provided services to over 250 people and sheltered over 60 people for one night or more over the past five days.
Thank you to our Police, Fire, and DPW crews as well as Council on Aging staff and volunteers from across Town departments who mobilized to assist with our shelter efforts.
Thank you also to our community for checking on your neighbors, providing food, offering help where it was needed, and being patient and understanding during the storm and subsequent prolonged power outages.
