Draper Parks and Recreation will be closing Clark’s Trail September 23 as part of the remediation of the slide area. It is anticipated that the trail will be closed for a couple of weeks. We will update when it is open again. As a reminder, Ann’s Trail is still closed as a result of the April 2023 house slide.

Contractors are experiencing safety issues on Clark’s trail, with users coming through the paths. Further, people have continued going around the gates closing off Ann’s trail. To protect the safety of trail users and workers in the remediation area, Draper’s Canyon Patrol officer will be in the area writing tickets for passing onto these trails.

Presently, the estimate for cleanup to be complete and all trails affected by the April 2023 house slide is the end of this year.
