Corner Canyon Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The Draper City Corner Canyon Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 7:00 AM. It begins and ends at the Andy Ballard Arena. Run mainly through Corner Canyon and the surrounding area on the dirt trail system, the course will pass by attractions such as Ghost Falls and the silica pit, and cross the Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge. Along the way, runners may encounter some of the Canyon's local wildlife, and enjoy the beauty of the area's fall colors.
Participants will receive a souvenir goodie bag, event tee shirt, race bib with timing chip, access to race photos, and a finishers medal.
Register by Monday, August 26 to guarantee a tee shirt (later registrants can request a shirt but receipt will be dependent on supply availability). Late Registration (for an additional $10) will be open August 27 through September 16. Registration closes September 16. There is no day-of registration and no refunds.

For children in grades K – 12. A Draper resident-only registration period is open through October 1. After that period, registration is open to everyone.
Game Times
All weekday games will rotate times: 5:30, 6:30, or 7:30 PM.
All Saturday games will be scheduled between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Youth Wrestling
This program focuses on wrestling fundamentals: balance, agility, body control, basic stance, rules, holds, and techniques, and — most importantly — having fun, making new friends, and getting to know the coaches. Competing in wrestling can promote a higher level of self-confidence, discipline, concentration, and coordination. This four-day clinic runs from October 7 - 10.

Fall Evil Scientist Academy
This Evil Scientist Academy is an exciting after-school science class for children in grades 1 - 5. The class meets on Mondays for six weeks at the Parks & Recreation Office. Choose a session start time from 4:30 – 5:30 PM or 5:30 – 6:30 PM.
Session 1: September 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14, & 21
Session 2: November 4, 11, 18, 24, December 2, & 9

Chemical Chaos: In this class, students will perform hands-on experiments to explore topics such as density, the properties of unusual substances, and how different substances can combine to create amazing chemical reactions.

Adult Tennis Lessons and Workouts
Open to ages 18 and older. Adult tennis lessons and workouts are available in spring, summer, and fall. The "punch pass" method allows adults to attend lessons at their leisure and to fit their schedule without the risk of time conflicts. Instructors are United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) certified and are excellent teachers. Beginner and intermediate classes are available for men and women.

Men's Winter Basketball League
Each team is guaranteed eight regular season games. Games will be played at Draper Park Middle School on Monday nights. After the regular season, we will have a single-elimination tournament. Games run from November 11, 2024 - February 24, 2025. Registration is open through October 27.
