Tonight! The Draper Arts Council Audition Masterclass will be held February 16 at the American Preparatory Academy, 431 West 11915 South. Enter the East doors and go upstairs. 

Youth 14 and under meet from 6:30 - 7:15 PM, while adults (15 and up) meet from 7:30 - 8:45 PM.

This is a free event. Click here to register.

The Audition Masterclass is a valuable opportunity to get expert feedback and improve your auditions. Come prepared to audition, including your attire. You will have the chance to perform, and will then receive feedback. Although you may simply attend and observe, you will learn more if you perform and get personalized input. It is also great practice to perform in front of others.

Draper Arts Council will hold auditions for Singing in the Rain on February 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, and February 25 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at American Preparatory Academy. Callbacks will follow.

Singing in the Rain will be held May 26, 27, and 29, and June 2, 3, 5, 9, and 10, 2023 at the Draper Amphitheater.


On Friday, March 3, Trader Joe’s will open a new Draper, Utah store. The new store is located at 11479 South State St. Moments before doors open at 8 AM, there will be a brief ceremonial ribbon cutting. Store Captain Douglas Overholtz and Trader Joe’s Crew Members will be on hand to welcome customers to their new neighborhood store. Operating Hours: 8 AM-9 PM daily.
