Downtown Parking Changes in Effect July 1

Crews have completed installing timed parking signs throughout the downtown in customer parking areas, and a new program to expand downtown employee parking begins July 1. These changes to downtown parking are designed to meet the needs of both customers and employees by keeping parking spaces closest to downtown businesses available for customers, while providing additional parking options for downtown employees.
What’s New?
Customer Parking: A 3-hour time limit is now in effect for all areas designated “customer parking,” effective Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note these time limits do not apply after 6 p.m. weekdays, any time on weekends, or on holidays. You will now see 3-hour customer parking signs installed in the central part of downtown, with 4-hour parking signs installed near the perimeter of downtown.
- Employee Parking: In conjunction with timed customer parking, the City is implementing the new Blue Dot Parking Program July 1 to increase available parking options for downtown employees. This program allows employees with Blue Dot parking permits to park beyond posted time limits in any areas with Blue Dot signs.
- Wheaton Place Garage, Fourth Floor: The top floor of the Wheaton Place Garage is all daily fee parking, weekdays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., payable through the Passport app. After 3 p.m. weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday, these spaces are free and available to customers.
