Temporary Road Closures for Cream of Wheaton
The 2026 Cream of Wheaton, hosted by the Wheaton Park District and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, will take place Thursday, June 4, to Sunday, June 7. This year’s event will include food vendors, entertainment and more in Memorial Park, and the carnival will take place at a new location, in City of Wheaton Lot 9, located at Liberty Drive and Carlton Avenue.
Please note the road closures below associated with the Cream of Wheaton in Memorial Park and in City of Wheaton Parking Lot 9.
The French Market taking place on Saturday, June 6 will take place in its normal location in the pavilion near Main Street and Liberty Drive.
Parking Lot 9:
City of Wheaton Parking Lot 9 will be closing at 10 p.m. Sunday, May 31, for carnival setup and will reopen for use starting on Wednesday, June 10, following pavement repairs. The streets surrounding the carnival will remain open.
Road Closures Near Memorial Park (see map):
- Hale Street between Wesley Street and Seminary Avenue will be closed from Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7
- Karlskoga Avenue between Wheaton Avenue and Hale Street will be closed for parking and traffic from Tuesday, June 2 through Sunday, June 7.
