Snow Operations Update
Over the past 24 hours, Wheaton received more than 8 inches of snow. Public Works crews have been working continuously to clear streets using our prioritized system: main thoroughfares and high-volume areas are cleared first, followed by secondary and residential streets. Crews are also working to clear cul-de-sacs and dead ends, which come later in the process because they require smaller equipment rather than large snowplows. We appreciate your patience as crews continue working to clear all 165 miles of Wheaton’s roadways.
