While crews are working to resurface the center lane of Gary Avenue near Hawthorne Boulevard, drivers traveling westbound from Hawthorne Boulevard onto Gary Avenue will temporarily be unable to turn left. To travel southbound, drivers must turn right and then make a U-turn at an intersection. This temporary pattern will remain in place for approximately two weeks. 

This work is part of the Gary Avenue Improvement Project, where crews are working on resurfacing and widening the roadway at the north and south ends of the project area, between Jewell Road and Harrison Avenue.
