Good evening, this is a message from the City of Crown Point with our weekly update.

In October, the City of Crown Point will have a new provider for the weekly message. In the coming days, we will send out a survey to confirm your message preferences. The Crown Point Farmers Market closes at noon this Saturday, Sept. 14.

Stroll the grounds of Bulldog Park this Saturday, Sept. 14, during the City of Crown Point’s first-ever Wine Fest. Sample wines from Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan, indulge in local small bites and enjoy the music stylings of Elton Jeff & The Honky Cats and Frank Ruvoli. Attendees must be 21 and older. Rock out at the Crown Point Car Cruise with a free summer concert this Thursday, Sept. 12. The Highway Band and Muddsharks will take the stage of the Franciscan Health Amphitheater at Bulldog Park at 4:15 p.m. For a complete Summer Concert Series line-up, please visit crownpoint.info/scs.

Join First United Methodist Church for its 9/11 Remembrance Service at 7 p.m. this Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the memorial garden at 352 S. Main St.

Check out the vehicles that keep the city moving during the City of Crown Point’s free Touch-A-Truck event from noon to 3 p.m. this Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Crown Point Sportsplex, located at 1313 E. North St. There will be fire trucks, police vehicles, dump trucks, ambulances and more!

Join Mayor Pete Land for Mondays with the Mayor at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at Great Lakes Sports Hub, located at 1301 Merrillville Road. Come hear about all the exciting things happening in the City!
