CAR CRUISE

The Crown Point Car Cruise is at Wittenberg Village, 1150 E. Luther Drive, today, Thursday, Sept. 5. Tonight's vendors include Crown Creamery, Daily Grind Coffee and Damo's Dogs Hot Dog Carts.

SPLASH PAD

The splash pad at Bulldog Park is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. All hours are event/weather permitting and subject to change. FARMERS MARKET

The Crown Point Farmers Market returns to Bulldog Park this weekend! Browse wares from 70-plus vendors, including farmers, bakers and artisans, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 7, under the Franciscan Health Pavilion. The splash pad will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy a free yoga class from the 9-10 a.m. on the lawn of the Franciscan Health Amphitheater with the Southlake YMCA. 

FREE SPOOKY MOVIE

Visit Bulldog Park tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 6, for a spooktacular showing of “Ghostbusters.” Gates open at 6 p.m. The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair. Concessions will be available for purchase. 

MUM SALE

Visit the Lake County Fairgrounds, 889 S. Court St., at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 6, for the Crown Point Garden Club's annual Mum Sale. The sale will be held in Shelter 6.
