Good evening, this is a message from the City of Crown Point with our weekly update.

Garbage pick-up will be delayed by one day this week due to Labor Day.

The Crown Point Car Cruise moves to Wittenberg Village, located at 1150 E. Luther Drive, this Thursday, Sept. 5. Admire classic cars and new autos from 4-8 p.m.

Visit Bulldog Park this Friday, Sept. 6, for a spooktacular showing of “Ghostbusters.” Gates open at 6 p.m. The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Tickets are on sale for the City of Crown Point’s inaugural Wine Fest! Stroll the grounds of Bulldog Park, on Saturday, Sept. 14, while sampling fine wines from Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan. The 21-and-older event features small bites from local restaurants and live entertainment. For tickets and more, visit crownpoint.info/winefest.

Rock out at the Crown Point Car Cruise with a free summer concert next Thursday, Sept. 12. The Highway Band and Muddsharks will take the stage of the Franciscan Health Amphitheater at Bulldog Park at 4:15 p.m. For a complete Summer Concert Series line-up, please visit crownpoint.info/scs.
