NEXT WEEK: FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION

The City of Crown Point’s Fourth of July Parade will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 4. The parade starts at the intersection of Main Street and 125th Avenue and ends at the corner of Goldsborough and Main streets. The fireworks show will begin at dusk, around 9 p.m., at the Lake County Fairgrounds, located at 889 S. Court St.   

NEXT WEEK: ELLE KING AT BULLDOG PARK

Visit Bulldog Park next Thursday, July 6, as Hometown Jams presents Elle King. Doors open at 5 p.m. Taylor Austin Dye and Caitlyn Smith will open the show. Tickets are selling fast, order yours today by visiting https://bit.ly/HJEK2023.

CAR CRUISE

The Car Cruise is back at Bulldog Park today, Thursday, June 29. Join car enthusiasts from 4-8 p.m. every Thursday through Sept. 28 for classic cars and new autos and local food vendors!     

SIGN UP FOR SOCCER

In-house and travel registration is open for the fall 2023 Crown Point Youth Soccer season. Boys and girls in divisions 5U-12U born between 2011 and 2018 are eligible for in house. Boys and girls in divisions 8U-14U are eligible for travel. Travel registration closes tomorrow, Friday, June 30. In-house registration closes next Thursday, July 6. FARMERS MARKET

Visit the Crown Point Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, July 1, at Bulldog Park. Check out produce, baked goods and more from dozens of vendors. Join the Dean and Barbara White Southlake YMCA for Pilates on the lawn of the Franciscan Health Amphitheatre from 9-10 a.m. For a complete list of vendors, please visit www.crownpoint.in.gov.

CITY-WIDE PICNIC

The City-Wide Picnic returns to the Franciscan Health Pavilion at Bulldog Park this weekend! The free picnic for Crown Point residents will be held from 1-4 p.m. this Sunday, July 2. This year, Mayor Pete Land and City staff will grill up hamburgers, hot dogs and Polish sausages, as well as serve pulled pork, pasta salad, chips, dessert, soda and water.

BRO RIDE 2.BRO

Join Operation Charlie Bravo for its make-up date of the seventh annual BRO Ride 2.BRO. Registration for the bike run begins at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday, July 2, at 1670 E. North St. Kick stands go up at 10:30 a.m. Single riders are $20. Double riders are $25. Those who registered for the June 11 event have free entry. The approximately 25-mile ride will end at the Wicker Memorial Park Pavilion, 8554 Indianapolis Blvd., Highland.

AUTOGRAPH SIGNING
