EBYC Fall General Meeting:
Each year, we hold a Fall General Meeting to welcome our members back and let you know what is going on at Youth Council this year. For this year's meeting, we are giving you the opportunity to complete service activities while learning about Youth Council. Youth Council is primarily a service-based organization, so we want to show you all that you can expect in your EBYC membership: Recreation, Education, and Community Service.
For the General Meeting, stop by East Brunswick Recreation's Day of Service at Bicentennial Park, on September 22nd, anytime from 12pm-5pm. To earn 2 hours of service, you will need to complete the following tasks:
1. Drop off (5) non-perishable food items to the donation bins and sign in with our staff.
2. Complete any 3 volunteer projects located within Bicentennial Park or the Daisy Building. This can include: a craft, park clean up, food prep, etc.
3. Write a positive thought on our "Uplift Community" board.
4. Stop at the Youth Council table for your Youth Council shirt, swag bag, and exclusive Days of Service sticker (you only get your sticker after you complete your tasks.)
5. Send an email to ebyouthcouncil@eastbrunswick.org with your name, 5 pictures from the event (including one picture of you holding your Days of Service sticker!), and a 7-sentence paragraph about your experience. Include as much detail as you can!
