Happy Holidays!
- From all of us at East Brunswick Youth Council, we hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season, and a Happy New Year! We’ll see you in 2024!
Social:
- Passport Challenge: Earn stamps at the social events you attend to receive a prize! We have two Passport Challenge events this month. Event #1 is a Holiday Movie Night on December 17, and Event #2 is Holiday Cookie Decorating on December 22.

- Trainings and Classes: Teen Mental Health First Aid Training
- Volunteering at the Chelsea
- Youth Council takes the Mental Health of our members very seriously, and we want to do everything in our power to better the mental health of our young people. Our staff have taken the training classes to provide Teen Mental Health First Aid for free to all our Youth Council members in grades 10-12. If you are interested in receiving Teen Mental Health First Aid, please sign up on Volunteer Matrix. Our next training starts on January 29.
- 7 Habits of Effective Teens is a best-selling book that revolutionized the way teachers, parents, and students thought about how to navigate the pressures of teenager-hood. It includes ideas that everyone can grasp and utilize, and they help teens blossom. There are 8 total classes that you will need to take in order to earn credit. Classes are from January 31 to March 20. If you are interested in receiving this training, please sign up on Volunteer Matrix.

- New Events will be released in bulk on the 1st and 3rd/5th Sundays of each month at 5pm! The next big event drop is Sunday, December 31! We do recommend that you still regularly check Volunteer Matrix, because you never know when a surprise event may appear...
