EBPD - **2025 Citizen Police Academy**

The East Brunswick Police Department will be hosting a Citizen Police Academy beginning on Monday, September 8, 2025, and continuing through the week of October 20, 2025, during the evening from 6:30 PM to as late as 8:30 PM (6-7 sessions total). This year, the Citizen Police Academy will be held at the East Brunswick Library, located at 2 Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.

The citizen police Academy is FREE OF COST and open to East Brunswick residents and business owners 18 years of age or older. There will be many interesting demonstrations and activities which will be instructed by various members of the East Brunswick Police Department and will include information on Crime Prevention and Community Policing, Professional Standards, Traffic Safety, Crime Scene Investigation, Patrol Techniques, and demonstrations from our SWAT team.

Participants will learn information about the inner workings of the East Brunswick Police Department and gain a better understanding of the police profession and how they can help make our community safe.

The academy has a limited number of seats, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All attendees must submit to and pass a brief background check.
