Description

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, northwest, and southern New
Jersey, including the following areas, in central New Jersey,
Eastern Monmouth, Mercer and Western Monmouth. In northern New
Jersey, Middlesex and Somerset. In northwest New Jersey,
Hunterdon. In southern New Jersey, Atlantic, Atlantic Coastal Cape
May, Camden, Cape May, Coastal Atlantic, Coastal Ocean,
Cumberland, Gloucester, Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, Salem and
Southeastern Burlington.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another round of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon
and evening could produce heavy rain. With an already
saturated surface, it will not take much rainfall to result
in flooding. Rainfall rates of around 2 to 3 inches per hour
are possible.
