AlertAnnapolis - Special Event Reminder: Annapolis Fall Shows This Thursday (10/8) Though Next Sunday (10/18)

This is an important message from the City of Annapolis Office of Emergency Management:

The Annapolis Powerboat Show is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 8th, and continue through 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 11th. The Annapolis Sailboat Show is scheduled to run from October 15th through October 18th.

Anticipate potential travel delays and congestion due to alternate traffic patterns (see below) in the downtown area as early as Wednesday as loading begins. The alternative traffic pattern will remain in effect though at least the conclusion of the Sailboat Show on October 18th.

Please be alert to additional pedestrian traffic and parking restrictions as you move around the area. Follow directions from law enforcement and plan to allow extra time for your journey!
