AlertAnnapolis - Severe Thunderstorm Watch, Wind Advisory, and Coastal Flood Advisory currently in effect for Annapolis tonight

This is an important message from the City of Annapolis Office of Emergency Management:

UPDATE 3/16/26 at 9:05 PM -- OEM is continuing to monitor possible severe storms. Another round of storms is anticipated for tonight between 9:00 and 11:00 PM, with wind gusts of up to 55 mph being the primary concern. There have been little to no impacts reported from the prior thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued the following products for the remainder of tonight:

Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued, currently in effect until 12:00 AM (midnight) tonight.
Wind Advisory has been issued for the wind gust threat tonight, currently in effect until 12:00 AM (midnight) tonight.
The Coastal Flood Warning has been downgraded to a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is currently in effect until 11:00 PM.
