Description

* WHAT...One to one and a half foot of inundation above ground
level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday morning,
especially around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on
Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is
flooded. Compromise Street is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above
normal. Minor flooding impacts will start on Wednesday evening,
with moderate flooding impacts possible closer to high tide
Thursday morning, which is at 5:57 AM at Annapolis U.S. Naval
Academy. Flooding impacts likely continue through high tides on
Friday morning as well, and further extensions of this headline
may be needed as a result.

Instructions

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
