AlertAnnapolis - Weather Alert: Coastal Flood Advisory in Effect Until 4:00 PM
This is an important message from the City of Annapolis Office of Emergency Management:
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory until 4:00 PM today. Coastal flooding is possible in low-lying areas of the City (notably City Dock, Compromise St, and Eastport), with water levels possibly reaching up to 2.6 ft MLLW (or greater) at around 2:09 PM (high tide). Tide levels could change unexpectedly.

Be prepared for temporary road closures and alternate traffic patterns. Law Enforcement will reopen the roads as soon as it's safe to do so after the water begins to recede.
Minor Flooding Impacts: Impacts start to become visible to the public, with some safety concerns. Notable flood impact levels for Annapolis that could potentially happen during this period include:
- 2.8 ft MLLW: Flooding of the Dock St parking areas is possible, and water could cover much of the parking area under certain circumstances.

Do not drive through standing water or around any barricades.
