Notice of Controlled Blasting
NOTICE OF CONTROLLED BLASTING
Anderson Place Development – 199 Hunt Street
The City of Norcross would like to inform nearby residents and businesses that controlled blasting activities are scheduled to take place at the Anderson Place Development site, located at 199 Hunt Street, as part of sewer line installation work.
During excavation, bedrock was encountered, requiring the contractor to use controlled blasting methods to safely continue the installation process.
The contractor is expected to begin blasting operations at approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.
Residents and businesses in the surrounding area may experience:
