Hello, this is Town Supervisor Jaine Elkind Eney with an important message.

On April 3rd, in observance of Good Friday, the Town Center will be closed, and the Maxwell Avenue Recycling Facility will close at 1 PM.  Friday’s garbage and commingled collections will be unaffected by the holiday closure and will proceed as usual.

Effective Monday, April 6th, curbside yard waste collection will resume.
Therefore, if your scheduled collection days are Monday & Thursday:

• On Monday - the first pickup is garbage, and the second is yard waste.
• On Wednesday there continues to be only one collection of paper and cardboard recycling.
• On Thursday - the first pickup is garbage, and the second is commingled recycling of cans, plastics and bottles.

If your scheduled collection days are Tuesday & Friday:

• On Tuesday - the first pickup is garbage, and the second is yard waste.
• On Wednesday - one collection of paper and cardboard recycling.
• On Friday - the first pickup is garbage, and the second is commingled recycling of cans, plastics and bottles.

Please be sure to have all items placed at the curb by 6:30am on collection day.
