Description

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central New Mexico,
including the following areas, in central New Mexico, Central
Highlands, Eastern Lincoln County, Estancia Valley, Sandia and
Manzano Mountains including Edgewood and South Central Highlands.
In north central New Mexico, Glorieta Mesa Including Glorieta Pass
and Santa Fe Metro Area.

* WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Increased monsoon moisture will be in place today, leading to
numerous slow moving thunderstorms. Rainfall rates up to 2
inches per hour will lead to excessive runoff and possible
flash flooding.
