The City of Royal Oak has the ability to send you emergency alerts and community notifications to residents via text message, email, phone call, or voice mail, based on your preferences. Residents with land-based telephone lines may also receive notifications depending on the type of incident or event.
Please provide your street address and preferred method(s) of contact. Your address enables the system to send alerts that specifically pertain to your neighborhood as well as general community alerts.
Emergency alerts examples are hazards that require action to be taken, such as evacuation, shelter in place, gas leaks, electrical outages, snow emergency, and significant police, or fire activity.
Community notifications include road closires, water main issues, sanitation/leaf collection/snow removal information, critical deadline reminders, event/meeting cancellations, and program notices.
Alerts are provided free of charge, however standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.
