Colorado Avenue will be intermittently closed to traffic today, Tuesday, July 8, from about 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., between Davis and Townsend, to complete the painting of the Rainbow Crosswalk. The work was initially scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, but had to be rescheduled.

The westbound lane will be closed to traffic in the morning to accommodate morning commuters, and the eastbound lane will be closed shortly after the end of the morning commute. Each side is expected to take approximately 90 minutes to paint, with additional time required for drying. All work is expected to be complete by noon.
