Colorado Ave will be closed beginning tomorrow, Friday, March 13, at 7:00 am through Sunday, March 15 at 8:00 am for the Telluride Skijoring and Winter Celebration.

Closure, Detour, Parking Impact Map

Please plan accordingly and move vehicles to avoid being ticketed and towed. Consider alternate routes, yield to pedestrians, and use caution when driving through town.

Detour Routes

Detour routes will direct traffic around the event area. Motorists should follow posted signage.

To maintain safe vehicle widths along detour routes, no parking will be permitted in the following areas:

• South side of E. Columbia Avenue between N. Pine St. and N. Willow St.

• South side of E. Pacific Avenue between S. Spruce St. and S. Willow St.

• West side of S. Willow Street between E. Pacific Ave. and E. Colorado Ave.

These areas will be clearly marked with temporary signage and cones.

Temporary Parking Adjustments (Friday–Sunday)

To help accommodate parking displaced by the street closure and detours, the following temporary changes will apply throughout Town:

• All street parking meters and mobile pay zones will be deactivated

• Permit parking enforcement on streets will be suspended

• Parking will be allowed in winter no-parking areas unless specifically marked closed due to detours

Parking regulations at the Silver Jack Garage will remain unchanged.

Event Parking

Event attendees are encouraged to park in public lots at:

• Carhenge Lot

• Shandoka Lot
